Andrew Unger

Andrew began his radio career by being forced to listen to his older brother Marc announce stratomatic baseball games using a Mr. Microphone and a cheap transistor radio. This soured Andrew for a long time, towards both radio and his brother. His love of sports led him into football where he played defensive tackle on a very mediocre Franklin football team in Reisterstown.
After a "less than stellar" three year hitch in the U.S Army, where he is still recognized as one of the only soldier with "Top Secret" clearance to spend most of his tour handing out towels in the gym, Andrew returned to the area, married and got into radio full-time with a one hour sports information and comedy program that's been heard in as many as 25 cities around the country.
Co-hosted with Marc, the highly successful show was meant to be a promotion for Andrew's sports info business, however it soon developed it's own unique "voice" and a devoted following of listeners.
With his dry sense of humor and expert knowledge of all sports except lacrosse, tennis, golf, hockey, soccer, swimming, bowling or auto racing, Andrew brings funny, insightful commentary to the program.
Andrew's mind works in mysterious ways and he's liable to spin "The Fighting Ungers" in any one of a million directions. Listeners love the free form style of the show and sponsors love the commitment Andrew brings to the product. "I believe, first and foremost, our show is meant to be fun as well as informative" says Andrew.
If he seems a little quiet at times just remember he's exhausted from having a huge front lawn, three children, a wife who likes to complain and a brother he keeps lending money to.
