Now that WNST has fixed the Orioles, what should we do next?

Operate on Tiger’s knee?

Serve as the interim Mayor of Baltimore city?

Serve on the investigative committee for the NBA referee scandal?

Resolve the current gas crisis?

Get our troops home from Iraq?

Run the Redskins and try to get them to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1992? (OK, that’s probably not something we’d want to do, but it would be one helluva challenge…then again, if we fixed the Orioles in roughly 3 years, we can do anything.)

"Mission Accomplished", eh?

Re: What's our next task?    By 'ZonaCat on 6/18/2008 8:17 PM

The Orioles are fixed? Tell that to the ushers down there! That stadium is definitely a No Fun Zone. Unless you're from Boston or New York, I guess.

Re: What's our next task?    By Jim in New York on 6/18/2008 8:18 PM

We need to push for the new arena to meet NBA standards and help bring an NBA team to Baltimore. If New Orleans, Charlotte, Oklahoma City and Portland can have teams, so can Baltimore. I fully realise the main reason people bring up against this (the Wizards, arena), but Baltimore's position as a TV market relative to the alternatives is a good starting point.

Re: What's our next task?    By The Eagle on 6/18/2008 8:31 PM

I don't think the O's are fixed Drew. I think you're letting a little bit of on field progress cloud your thinking. Are things better? Yes. Fixed? Not yet. However, I'll tip my cap to you, Nestor and the boys at WNST for rattling their cage. <br>There's absolutely no doubt you all stuck a flame under their feet and forced them to change some of their ways. <br>Oh yea, one more thing. I've heard you talk a lot about Nick Markakis striking out looking too many times this season. Did you just see strike 3 that he looked at in tonight's game? Check it out if you didn't see it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would much rather have gas back at $2.50 a gallon and a sorry baseball team! Can you guys do a reverse procedure on the Orioles and get the price of gas back down to something reasonable?

Re: What's our next task?    By Alan on 6/19/2008 4:44 AM

Funny stuff Drew, thanks. There's truth in your humor, though and I'm sure you know that. They've been listening. I know it and so do you. Keep up the good work!

Re: What's our next task?    By Teddy on 6/19/2008 4:45 AM

Here's a task for you. Fix that stinky football team in Baltimore!

Re: What's our next task?    By Jim from Dundalk on 6/19/2008 4:46 AM

If they are fixed , where are the sell outs ?<br>They don't feel fixed to me yet , I have no desire to spend my money on a Peter the Great enterprise , he pissed the great fans of Baltimore off for ten years and ruined a once great franchise , think it's fixed , think again my friend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,as for now , all my disposable income will go to the Ravens , they actually want me as a fan...................<br>

Re: What's our next task?    By jeffhandsofstone on 6/19/2008 6:35 AM

Is that a Mission Accomplished sign over your head Drewski? I've got a task for you Drew. Become the Caps GM and get us a Cup dammit! (And get Bettman to ban that wussy raggamuffin Briere!)

Re: What's our next task?    By Frank Costanza's Lawyer on 6/19/2008 4:48 AM

I have a fun idea; how about you upgrade the quality of your internet stream. It sounds like people talking from three miles away with two cans and a string. After the local guys go off the air I turn on a different station in the evening because the quality of their stream is infinitely better. I can barely understand what people are saying when I listen to you on the internet. I enjoy your programming but the only way to listen to you at work is on the internet, step up the quality!

Re: What's our next task?    By Reds on 6/19/2008 6:11 AM

YOU guys fixed the Orioles? WNST? The station that has ordered every host to bash the team every single day? WNST fixed the Orioles? Please tell me this is your attempt at humor Drew. I enjoy your show on occasion but all your station has done has hurt the club's progress, not help it. I assume at some point today you'll print the punch line to this joke, right?

Re: What's our next task?    By B.J. on 6/19/2008 6:12 AM

I don't think WNST fixed the Orioles. Your station isn't that important Drew. But I will agree that you were the driving force behind putting Baltimore on the raod jerseys. They got tired of hearing you run your mouth about it all the time and they finally gave in to you.

Re: What's our next task?    By Noah in Cockeysville on 6/19/2008 6:13 AM

There is some truth to this blog. They are doing a lot of things you've been talking about for the last couple of years.

Re: What's our next task?    By you aren't serious are you? on 6/19/2008 6:30 AM

WNST "fixed" the Orioles? Pardon me while I laugh.

Re: What's our next task?    By PRJ352 on 6/19/2008 6:16 AM

New Arena for sure.

Re: What's our next task?    By poptart on 6/19/2008 6:31 AM

Can you work on people's sense of humor? Because some people don't seem to have one, or just don't get it.

Re: What's our next task?    By AK on 6/19/2008 6:36 AM

I would like all of Washington D.C., and its surrounding suburbs, to be enclosed by a giant wall. I would like armed guardsmen statione
