Never too early to start talking Fantasy Football

So, since I will miss another Chicken Box Friday...last one til July....I figured a blog...

My early top 5 picks this year:

1. LT...until someone consitently does what he does...he is still number 1

2. Brian Westbrook...maybe a bit risky...because of injury, but no one does more for their team.

3. Steven Jackson...I still believe

4. Joseph Addai...again I love 3 down back that catch the ball...

5. Adrian Peterson...before you all start a revolt...he still does not catch the ball out of the backfield...still has C. Taylor stealing 5 to 10 touches a week and is still only going into his second year...lets not crown him yet...plus MN still has no passing game so teams will have to key on him.

BEST ROOKIE: Jonathan Stewart

SLEEPER ROOKIE: Matt Forte

Beware of: TOM BRADY and RANDY MOSS...not saying they will be bad, but just do not draft them based on records...draft them based off a solid pro-bowl year..

Ken, you and your other fantasy dorks, need to chill out for the next few months. The fact that WNST would even allow you to put up a blog concerning Fantasy Football amazes me.

Unbelievable! The day before the BIGGEST event held in Baltimore ANNUALLY (fyi - that would be the Preakness), you have to litter this websites blog list with this worthless garbage! It's three freakin' months before the EARLIEST FFL draft... give it a rest until at least mid-July!

Addai is #2 if you are going by the old formula of running backs early. He is poised for huge year in that offense, he gets tons of touches all over the field! Peterson is certainly higher than Jackson or Westbrook. That guy has the ability to put up 1800 and 18 TD! I dont care if he doesnt catch a single ball, that kind of production is impossible to match.

Wow I must have struck a nerve...but let me say this...I have already done 2 mock fantasy drafts....some people already have the 2009 NFL draft mocked (I am not one of them)...and last time I checked freedom of speech was still a right...so if by the title you did not like the subject matter...you should not have read it...

On to AP...Tom you may be right, I just have an issue with making him god after 1/2 of a great rookie season....remember after the week he set the record he had 30 yards and no TD's...just saying...

Preakness if its soooooo darn big...why after Saturday does horse racing die in MD for a year...why? because no one ( sorry few) cares...its a big party and most people have no clue there are even horses there to race...NEXT!

Hey Ken; I'm a fellow WNST Blogger. Can you provide me your opinion on who picks #6 thru #16 would be? The reason I ask is that in my 12-team FFL, the draft order this year is determined by last years finish. I finished 4th, so I have picks #9 and #16. If you'd rather not post your answer, you can email it to me at quillg@comcast.net. Thanks!
