The Fighting Ungers, live Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
"Where Sports and Comedy Collide"
Listen to brothers Marc Unger and Andrew Unger carry on the family tradition of highly dysfunctional communication and bad betting habits on this weekly sports and comedy talk radio show.
Whether it's talking about the Orioles pitching woes or the NFL steroid rule, Marc and Andrew bring their own comic spin to every story. Not for the fearful or faint hearted, the "Fighting Ungers" won't be afraid to air their personal laundry right on the air. They'll talk politics, entertainment or anything else that comes up. Live call-ins give the brothers an added opportunity to spin off in any direction. The show will be fast-paced, high spirited and, with the added element of "straight from the hip" talk about sports betting (why do you think Arena Football exists?), casinos and poker, the Ungers provide a unique voice in sports entertainment radio. For serious sports talk with a comedy edge listen to "The Fighting Ungers" every Saturday morning 8am-11am on Sports Talk 1570 WNST.

The Fighting Ungers Sports Comedy Short Film
Below is a trailer for our 30-minute short film "The Filchaks Take a Gamble" about a family of sports handicapping con artists forced to pick the winner of the annual pro football Thanksgiving game.
WARNING: This Trailer contains adult language and is not suitable for young viewers.
Here's a complete summary:
- "Frank, you're thinking like a gambler! Sports wagering is more like investing."
- "Our system, our experience, guarantees you go at least seventy percent for a full season!"
With statements like these, you'd think recovering alcoholic Leo Filchak and his two sons, Brian and Craig, are the worlds' most successful family of sports handicappers. They're not. In fact they stink. They've lost the last fourteen football picks they've given out and if a client's not crying, he's threatening litigation. Now with their "empire" crumbling and younger brother Brian about to lose his house, this delightfully pathetic family decides to go "all in" and bet what little money they have on the annual Thanksgiving Day pro football game. It's a financial scheme only a "bust-out" could love. Shame they KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HANDICAPPING FOOTBALL! Can they pick a winner? Will Brian's wife go back to Odessa? Will Craig's psychotic girlfriend throw something again? What the hell is pilgrim vodka? Find out in the darkly twisted comedy short- THE FILCHAKS TAKE A GAMBLE.
The film went to several National film festivals and has received rave reviews. If you'd like to purchase a copy they're available for $10. Just email us at fightingungers@wnst.net
