WNST’S 2008 “KING OF BALTIMORE SPORTS” BRACKETS CONTEST

RULES & SCORING:

All contest participants are bound to the following rules. Please read carefully before entering your brackets.

1. You must be 21 years old to enter, a legal US resident and a permanent resident of the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania only. 
2. Contestant's must register with both wnst.net and Toyota to be eligible for prizes. Contestant's contact information will be shared with Toyota Corporation.     
3. Contestant’s name, likeness, voice, city and state of residence may be used for promotional purposes without additional permission or compensation.
4. Current or former employees of WNST, family members, clients, agents, successors, assignees of WNST or any promotional agency involved with the “2008 King of Baltimore Sports” brackets contest are ineligible to participate.
5. Entries are limited to one (1) per person. No person may enter more than one time and no person may enter for another person, or in another person’s name. Any person found violating any of the above provisions will be disqualified and all entries submitted by said person shall be ruled ineligible for prize awards
6. Entries will be accepted via the internet only on WNST’s official contest entry form which will be posted on the WNST website - www.wnst.net from 12:01 am Monday 6/9/08 – 11:59 p.m. Sunday 6/15/08. Any entries sent via any other means besides the WNST website will not be accepted. All late entries will be disqualified.
7. All “2008 King of Baltimore Sports” brackets must be filled out completely, including picking the champion.  Any brackets that are not filled out in its entirety will be ruled ineligible for prize awards.
8. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited
9. Decision of WNST General Manger Paul Kopelke is final.
10. No cash value, substitution of prizes or transfer of prizes to another person will be allowed. WNST, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute prizes of comparable value.
11. Prize winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state or local taxes.                
12. All prizes will be mailed by 8/31/08.                                               
13. By entering the contest, winner agrees to release and hold harmless WNST, its affiliated and subsidiary companies and contest sponsors against any and all claims or inability arising directly or indirectly from contestant’s participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize. Upon request, winner will promptly complete and sign any documents effectuating this release.
14. WNST is not responsible for contestant’s inability to access the Internet due to ISP downtime, computer failure, equipment malfunction, disconnection’s, busy lines, misdirected e-mail, submission errors or other circumstances or incapability’s relative to web access or to contest application.
15. Top 10 final contest standings will be posted by Monday 8/11/08.
16. By entering the “2008 King of Baltimore Sports” brackets contest you agree that you have read and understand the contest rules.

SCORING

1ST round – (round of 32) - 10 points for each correct winning players chosen
2nd round (sweet 16) – 27 points for each correct winning players chosen
3rd round (elite 8) – 46 points for each correct winning players chosen
4th round (final 4) – 71 points for each correct winning players chosen
5th round (championship) - 99 points for correct winning player chosen, the
“King of Baltimore Sports” 

TIE BREAKERS

1. Correctly picking the champion, the “King of Baltimore Sports”
2. Highest percentage of correct picks in the contest
3. Most teams in “round 2”

If there is still a scoring tie after all four tiebreakers have been exhausted, a random drawing will be conducted live on air by a WNST employee no later than Wednesday, August 13, 2008 to determine the winner(s).

Deadline:
Entries will be accepted from 12:01 am Monday 6/9/08 – 11:59 p.m. Sunday 6/15/08.
