It's cool, I know people are going to ask me my opinion about OJ Simpson for all obvious reasons. I get it.

I grew up in a home with a mom who kept me in church. I don't know what went wrong, she raised me right. The man you know now is not her fault...

Anyway, I learned a lot of lessons while spending six hours every Sunday in church. Many of those lessons still stick with me today.

Well over a decade ago, OJ Simpson was accus ...

Last week, I became Public Enemy Number One with some WNST listeners with my comments about the Ravens loss.

I really didn't mind that. One great thing about working here is the listener's passion matches the passion of the people you work with.

I made several comments, but one in particular was, "Winning teams find a way to win and losing teams find a way to lose."

I certainly understand that is a very "matter ...

There is NO excuse
Blogs Keith Melchior's Blog By Keith Melchior on 10/6/2008 8:09 AM

Whine and cry all you want about the Ravens loss yesterday, but it isn't going to change the fact they lost and once again blew a lead in the 2nd half.

Blame Matt Stover?  NO...the guy has been money for 13 years. Get off his back unless you can kick a 45 yarder in swirling winds.

Blame the officials? NO... we know they are part-time employees. Even the best screw up. It's easy to blame the referees after a loss.

Blame ...

There’s a very good chance if you and I talked at some point in the past week, I’ve mentioned my disappointment in the Ravens decision to basically SIT ON THE BALL with 1:40 remaining in Monday’s game against the Steelers. Yeah, yeah ….. I know, they had poor field position and a rookie quarterback, with no real experience in the two-minute offense, and blah, blah, blah …..

Is this the National Football League’s regular season or training camp? In my disdain with the Raven ...

Six pack as to why Ravens lost the game
Blogs Casey's Blog sponsored by, BaltimoreGolfing.com By Casey Willett on 10/6/2008 5:58 AM
So look there is no doubt that the penalty on Terrell Sugg’s was a bad call, and I will give you that, but that is not the single reason why the lost the football game. Here are some other reasons in my opinion that lead to the Ravens loss:

Terrapin Meltdown, Say it ain't so Joe!
Blogs Todd Helmick's Blog By Todd Helmick on 10/6/2008 1:18 AM
When searching for answers as to why the Maryland Terrapins football team got totally dismantled by struggling border rival Virginia this past Saturday to the tune of a 31-0 shutout, there actually may be some answers. But beware before reading on as one of the answers may portray a disheartening trend.

Blog & Tackle: At the quarter pole
Blogs Chris Pika's Blog By Chris Pika on 10/5/2008 10:26 PM
Another week, another slugfest for the Ravens against a quality opponent, and another week, another loss in a game that could have gone the Ravens’ way. Now, the reality check at the end of the season's first quarter for Baltimore: a 2-2 record when most had the Ravens at 1-3.

The good news is that the Ravens are good enough to beat the teams in the NFL’s bottom half, and the bad news is that they might not be good enough to beat many of the upper-echelon teams. That spell ...

Ravens Need Help at Receiver
Blogs Vince Fiduccia's Blog By Vince Fiduccia on 10/5/2008 8:41 PM
One thing is apparent to me:  the Ravens are in desperate need of one and maybe two big time wide receivers.   Don’t get me wrong--Derrick Mason is one heck of a possession wide receiver and more importantly a first class professional.    The Ravens don’t need to replace Mason; they need a complement, a true game breaker that can stretch the field and make the defense defend the entire length ...

Theme from Ravens' locker room: "We need to finish games!"
Blogs Nestor Aparicio's Blog By Nestor Aparicio on 10/5/2008 4:54 PM

After today’s late afternoon debacle, I had the honor of walking from one end of the Ravens’ locker room to the other and I heard at least six guys say the exact same thing over and over again:

“We need to learn to finish games,” was echoed from Jarret Johnson to Joe Flacco, from Bart Scott to Willis McGahee.

For the second time in six days, the Ravens let “the better team” come back from a hole and beat them with late errors and br ...

Coaching, penalties and picks...it all adds up
Blogs Drew Forrester's Blog, sponsored by Koons Ford Security Blvd By Drew Forrester on 10/5/2008 4:00 PM
It's hard to determine who looked the part the least this weekend.

Michael Phelps on Saturday, in his going-to-a-frat-party get-up that was, to put it kindly, embarrassing.

Or the Ravens, who gave off an aroma of being a quality team for about 70% of Sunday's game before finally caving in down the stretch to lose to Tennessee, 13-10.

At least the Ravens had their shirt tail tucked in and their underwear wasn't showing throughou ...
