Born and raised in Towson, Alex gained interest in the Baltimore sports
scene through his father and uncles at a very young age. He graduated from Calvert Hall in 2004, where he participated in lacrosse, water polo, and swimming. He now attends Towson University for graduate school where his focus is on biological sciences. He graduated from Washington College in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology and was the recipient of the Eldridge Eliason Award, given to the graduating senior with a GPA in the top half of the class who has accomplished the most in the field of athletics. Alex was the captain of the men's swim team at Washington College and a sports writer for The Elm, a student-published newspaper at WAC. He interned at WNST in the Summer of 2007 and covered Ravens training camp with former Sports Night host Michael Popovec. Alex is currently the Assistant Coach at Calvert Hall for Varsity Swimming and JV Water Polo. |
