Derrick Mason, Todd Heap, Demetrius Williams, Chris McAlister, Jared Gaither, and Steve McNair, were all not present at practice today for the Ravens.Ed Reed was at practice but not dressed with his teammates. This has been a usual routine for Ed for a week or so now where he does not practice, but plays on Sund ...

Is Tom Brady The Greatest EVER ....
Blogs Rex Snider's Blog By Rex Snider on 11/30/2007 7:08 AM
Hey, it’s a legitimate question. Although, the very thought of this query probably rubs some “old school” Baltimore football fans the wrong way ….. the truth is Tom Brady is in a class with Johnny Unitas.

How can we say this about a guy who’s only been in the league 8 years? Well, look at the statistics. If we toss out the rookie season …. when he took 3 snaps …. his numbers are flat-out impressive. He’s averaging over 3500 yards passing, per season. And, he’s compili ...

Razorback Soap Opera
Blogs John Keller's Blog By John Keller on 11/29/2007 9:27 PM

Well what a week in the life of Houston Nutt and the Arkansas Razorbacks.  The Hogs upset the #1 LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Friday, which was an epic game to witness, and head Hog resigns as coach on Monday night!

What gives??  Well this was coming for weeks.  Nutt and his motley fools of coachs have endured email-gate with a booster and Nutt's wife, the O-coordinator, Gus Malzahn resignation, err firing, and the Springdale, AR s ...

A different side of Ray Lewis today
Blogs Casey Willett's Blog By Casey Willett on 11/29/2007 5:10 PM
To say that the Sean Taylor situation has bothered Ray Lewis would be an understatement. To watch Ray today as he talked about to the media about Sean Taylor was very eye opening. After Ray spoke with the media, I watched him as he sat as his locker and just sort of had this blank stare on his face and appeared to have several thoughts running through his mind.

Blowing Smoke?
Blogs Rob Long's Blog, Brought to you by Jerry's Toyota By Rob Long on 11/29/2007 3:06 PM
Look, I'm not saying Ed Reed isn't a tremendous competitor. I'm not even saying that he doesn't have the ability to be one of the best defensive players in the NFL. What's curious to me is the amount of respect that Bill Belichick is showing him, publicly.

I think Belichick is very crafty and I believe he's setting Reed up for trying to have a big day, now that all eyes are on him. Reed's big game has been absent this year and he's due. I think Reed is a very intelligent p ...

Practice update and the most interesting article you will read all day
Blogs Casey Willett's Blog By Casey Willett on 11/29/2007 12:12 PM
The Ravens returned to practice today on a very chilly Thursday afternoon. There was almost a full participation as Todd Heap, Chris McAlister, Samari Rolle, Dan Wilcox, Jarrett Johnson, and Demetrius Williams were all at practice today. Steve McNair and Gary Stills were missing from the media session of practice. Ed Reed was at practice but looks like he will continue to be limited during the week.
